I finally got a photo of him sitting still.

I mean, look at that face.

Fred made himself at home...

Looking out the window- this is just as he saw me and started to bolt...

Problems with having a kitten include FINDING HIM, even when he is right in front of you. Can you see him here:

He's fallen asleep in a box of old purses!

He finds his own places to sleep...

This is some magic. The black chair is one that Rock made me put by my desk so he could sit beside me.Freddy likes it, and does something Rock would do, reaching out with a paw to touch me. Fred's massive paw is black, instead of pink like Rock's. That's a new mouse toy for Fred. The size of his paw and reports from his rescuer say that Fred is going to be a HUGE cat.

Fred, not satisfied with just a paw on my leg, butts his head up against me, defying gravity. Well, not really defying gravity, as he was about to fall a nanosecond later. He hasn't figured out things like the "edge" of things. That's what Mom's there for, to stop him from falling off the edge, and comfort him if he does.

It's darn good my camera has a video function. After watching him on this circular toy for about a half hour, I got this 7mb avi clip of him.

Freddy on his circular ball toy

He really makes it hard to be sad! Imagine, only 8 weeks old and he's already on the job.

I miss you Rock. Maybe one day I will be strong enough to post the photos I have of Rock. His face is in my eyes every moment anyway. Thank you God for Rock and this new life. I will do my best to honor life.
