March 20- Spent too much time chasing a package (finally caught it today....sheesh!) so I forgot to cross into Kansas as we scurried into Joplin, Missouri. :( Joplin looked like a set from "American Graffiti". Right out of the 50's, the drive up burger stands and small town look. Up the sunset highway to Lamar. Lamar has 4000 people and two motels. We're spending the night at the Super 8 by the highway.
