We took the long beautiful walk down the Sea of Z3s, met friends, checked out the cars and the vanity plates, and finally joined the hundreds of Z3ers who were already amassed in the outdoor semi circle. I met Jake Spruill, leader of the Coupe Group and the one who showed the Northeast Convoy a couple nice roads on the way to HC. Speaking of the Northeast Convoy, Fred Kern not only lead the Northeast Convoy with meticulous care - he got Mom to come back to Spartanburg! This year they set up grand buffet tables instead of box lunches. It was huge undertaking especially considering they had shut down the main thoroughfare through the most popular section of town for several blocks for an entire Friday night at the same time, while having a hot little band and a fireworks display- and a giveaway of a backpack encased picnic dining set to every car! BMW Manufacturing rocks. This was all their doing, the police, the Peace Center Staff, the food, the gifts, the music, the presentations, the pyrotechnics, the cars, Homecoming- everything. JonT is having a good time The band was GREAT, Deni (WA) and I were dancin... Carl Flesher, BMW vice president and Spartanburg employee #1 and Denise...Zoom (WA) joined in the dancing...
