Have you noticed how nice these people are? Gosh, this is a whole lot nicer than any autocross I have been to. They even served up free BBQ... and you know how I feel about BBQ... and anyone who feeds me... I can't say enough nice things about the hosts of the event, Not only were they outgoing and friendly and generous and did a super job of organizing the event, they also had these fabulous t shirts made up- I am sorry I didn't get a pic- of their logo with US flags instead of the checkered flags and "September 11, 2001" at the top. It made me feel really welcome. I bought 2 but then realized they were 50% poly and I can't wear it. :( Groovy shirts, L and XL, give 'em a holler if you are interested, they rock. By this time you are probably wondering where the Z3s are. So was I. Not a single roadster. :( Thank goodness (or badness I guess :) ) for the coupes. When I saw the Stoneguards I looked for the owner, who stood still only for long enough to have a pic and then ran back out to help set up cones. I think his name was Jamal. Again, nice guy. |
