On one hand I was sorry we were leaving, on the other hand it was either leave or try one of the portajohns... so I guess I was happy... watching Mike and his friends changing wheels, taking off the magnetic decals, and the corpse of what had been their green tent the day before, hanging in shreds on the fence. (Big wind + tent = bye bye tent) There were stories about claims of cars being disqualified and reentered, one friend victorious in his class, and a long ride to Daytona for them. Thanks Mike and Steve and all those great Subaru folks for invting me to join you and to the Gulf Coast Autocrossers and the SCCA and all the great people I met and all their great cars for a super day!
