I got to Newark airport in plenty of time, the plane was 1/2 an hour
late.  Airport security was OK, and quite acceptable. Laptop computers
are scanned separately (aka remove them from the bag). Anything to fly
safely.  While I was waiting, I thought I'd take a pic or two, and this
is when I realized when I lost the camera memory card.  ARGH!!

I left my smart media card and reader at home.

Matt left the charger to his phone, but had an extra smart media card for me
to use, I have the same phone so he used my charger. 

On the other hand, they gave Matt the hairy eyeball and pulled him out of the line for a special search when he changed planes in Chicago. They both had smart media cards in the end, but neither could read them, so they both ended up giving me their smart media cards to read, I ftp'd them, they downloaded them.  Nerds R Us!

By some miracle their flights actually arrived on time or near enough for them to meet up easily at Miami airport around 9pm.

two hours in the car, traversing Alligator Alley late at night, when no

We ended up at Rachel's place some time around 1:30 at night, and
proceeded to yak until some time after 3 when I went to bed.

They made excellent time crossing the state to get to Naples, arriving around 1 am. Matt got right on the Internet wearing his NYFD T-shirt :)
