We headed north leaving a spot to never be forgotten and friends new and old that has added a spice to our lives. Ja, and a little seasoning too!!! ;D Man, I really didn't want to see them go. I ran after their car - but could not keep up without Emmy... Then it was Jon and Matt's turn to leave... Jon writes: I awoke to Brent taking Emmy out for a spin so he could check on her clutch problem. The best way I can describe it is that after you shift and lift off the clutch pedal, you feel a rubber-band-like forward/backward lurch if you are moving slowly. I've noticed it, but I have no idea what causes it. Anyhow, I said my goodbyes to Brent and Connie, and they slipped away before Matt woke up. I kept up a lot better with the Camaro, but decided to stop before I got a speeding ticket for running too fast... Jon writes: My flight was somewhere around three, so Matt and I drove up to Fort Myers. He wasn't leaving until early Tuesday, and from Miami, so he was off to meet up with Micheal Wand for the day. The Fort Myers Airport was nice, clean, and efficient, and there were no issues with crowded tarmacs here! At the security checkpoint, I had to remove my shoes and they also checked out my laptop - again, no big deal. My first destination was Chicago, and then home to Newark. And then it was just me and the pool... and no bathing suit! Woohoo! :D
