Triboro Bridge |
As much as I felt like
a jerk for making us late, I felt smart for waiting. What was left
of the traffic on the FDR was vicious, by the time we got to the
Triboro Bridge it was a breeze. We made it to the hotel in 2 hours.
This was almost a total victory, except that upon check in, I discovered
I had also forgotten kitten food! What a jerk! I brought toys galore
and a litter box and no food.
Brian and Paula bailed me out, picked up some kitten food, but I
had made us so late that the nifty restaurant with the car hops
and the freshly ground beef sent us away. :(
We ended up eating in
a diner, which was nice, but still...
The next day we were invited to Brian and Paula's. An adorable 1800's
converted tobacco farmhouse. |

Hey, this is no garage
queen, Brian had his Firebird out for a ride only the day before
we arrived.
