Then I got two more
gifts, both unexpected. The Holiday
Inn Danbury was celebrating Holiday Inn "towel amnesty" day
and giving away their GREEN towels! They left them in our rooms,
how cool is that? The hotel had high speed access, so even at the
hotel I was in touch with my pals at Homecoming, they had high speed
access at the Wingate too!
Then I saw Freddy
playing on the sink. I know how he loves water, so I tried something.
I cupped my hands under the running tap, and lo and behold, Freddy
came over and lapped up the running water from my hands!
Unbelievable! This cat can travel!
Well, maybe. He cried a lot both ways in the carrier in the car.
I am glad I didn't try to make it to South Carolina! |
Jon
headed out to BimmerfestEast as Freddy and I headed home. Jon
took LOTS of photos at both the Vintage Fest and BimmerfestEast, (as well
as many of the shots you see here!). Please check out Jon's Vintage Fest
and BimmerfestEast pics here.
With Freddy meowing almost the whole time, we rolled back into the city
again, easy and early before the holiday traffic arrived. Over the Triboro
and past the 59th St Bridge again. What a GREAT time I had and it was
so easy! I learned so much, made new friends and kept the friends I knew.
Next year, I hope BMW will present the Vintage Festival again, I sure
like all that VIP treatment! Next time I will get there in time for lunch!!!
Or maybe Freddy and I will do Homecoming. All I can say is THANK YOU BMW
for my car, all these great friends and TWO great events on Labor Day
weekend! :D |
