Brian and Cathy came down from Boston as well, the night before and stayed in a local Bed and Breakfast- how was that place? They met up with us on 210. Gosh, what a great looking car they have. Rob L writes: Didn't you used to work at the old Playboy Club here in Vernon? This fellow drove up (an Escort wagon I think it was) in a somewhat manic frame of mind. After calling us over he stated "You may not have noticed, but this" indicating his own car "is NOT a Z3". Hmmmm, OK, something we can agree on. "I just wanted to make sure you all take good care of those cars, because in 10 years I'm going to buy one used". We dutifully promised we'd keep the seats warm. "And remember" he drove the point home, "this car isn't a Z3". Most of us weren't fooled, but someone did quip "Actually, I thought it was the new M Coupe". Gadi took the first turn at trying out JD's Clear Windscreen version 5.0 Rob L found himself traveling the same general direction as the cruise that morning, and brightened up the color scheme with his lovely yellow ///M before he had to continue on his Saturday rounds.
