Inspection I
Cold Air Intake installation
Scratch and stone chip repair.
Leather work on driver's seat
Seatbelt replacement
Scratch on trunklid - not fixable without a repaint ;-(
I also got stick-on roundels for my wheels, but I havne't had the
time to take care of that (or do anything else, for that matter)
Rachel adds~ (Jon got the service managers car, that's Web,
as a loaner when he went back for more service the next Thursday)
Webs wagon actually has the Nakamichi cd-changer in the glove box,
with an improved mount (the first one didn't really work well),
and it was filled with Christmas CDs. The stereo in the wagon
was ok, but I wouldn't call it great.
I was in having my seatbelt replaced because they
didn't have it in stock when I was there on Saturday.
Rachel adds~ that's why ya gotta book your services ahead.
I also had them take care of the paint chips and leather problems
I finally got a chance to look at my seat in the daylight (Today!),
and the leather repair was good. When they ended up doing was re-dying
the seat and doing some sort of "coverup" on the light-colored scuffs
and scratches, and that work went very well. You can't tell where
it was messed up, unless you know where to look. Web offered to
re-cover the seat, but I suggested we not be that drastic at the
first step and that we gave the leather guy a chance, first.
