Anyone having problems opening their doors (especially in extreme temps - low or high)? My doors don't want to open in bad temperatures on a 1997 Z3. They are very difficult to open. You have to use alot of pressure and get the exact right angle in order for it to open.

It seems that all BMW's do this. I've owned 4 and they have all done it to some extent. All you need to do it get a "torx" bit socket and *loosen* the striker plate on the door jamb.( The one attached to the car body, not the one on the door itself) Don't remove the torx nuts completely or you're screwed. Adjust the striker slightly and re-tighten. Works every time.
