"Bob & I left Lancaster County, PA at 6:00 pm on Thursday after we both
finally got off work.  Bob is a teacher and that was his first week of
school when they are not allowed to take personal days or be sick.
Fortunately, they were off on Friday and Monday so we hit the road as soon
as I got home.  It's a real inconvenience when your jobs interfere with your
hobbies!!

Anyway, we drove all night and arrived at the Marriott at 3:30 a.m. where
the desk clerk cheerily greeted us blurry eyed travelers with our room
anxiously awaiting us.  We hit the rack  immediately, but we were up and
about by 9:00 and arrived bright eyed and bushy tailed at the BMW plant at
10:00 am where we were overwhelmed with cars, tons of warm, friendly
people - both car owners and BMW representatives.   We took the survey, the
plant tour, the Centrum tour, visited the vendors, had lunch and generally
had a ball talking with everyone.  And it continued to get better all
weekend!!  Bottom line -- we have our reservations for the Marriott on
Thursday, Friday & Saturday and the Grove Park Inn for Sunday where we'll
stay (like last year) before heading home on Monday.  WE CAN'T WAIT!!  :-D
