"My wife reminded me that we weren't in the picture in 1998, only in '97. 
 We were were the only ones there with a red & beige Z3.    She
and a friend she met there in 1997 both sat out the photo in the parking lot
because there were so many cars there.  But to tell you about us and her car:
We're from Columbia, Tennessee.  Her Z3 is a red, 1997 1.9 with beige top and
interior, leather, heated seats, and trip computer.  We ordered it in May of
1997 and received it in the end of June. 

 We bought it from Century BMW of
Huntsville, Alabama.  It's her daily driver. 
Her personalized license plate is "ANDI'S Z" and was one of the license
plates on the cover of a Z3 Register issue from last year.
I know how much everyone loves their Z3's.  Our's reminds us of the
cars we had back in the 60's.  My wife had a bug-eyed Sprite, and I had an
Austin Healey 100-6.  The Z3 nose, the way it curves down, looks similar . . ."
