not the best picture..it was real hot and windy. This was taken at Willow Springs when the BMW club was schooling. It's also the same picture that is on this month's LA BMW club newsletter, the Whispering Bomb.

I'm a new owner of a '96 Z3 and yes, I am a gal. I am also restoring a 75 2002 from the ground up, so I guess I'm a BMW fanatic.
I've been busy restoring a '75 2002 in the garage along with driving my Z3 every chance I get. I'll have to send you pics for your garage collection of the Z and 2002 nestled together in the garage...still on the camera. I love my Z, but there will always be a place for the 2002 in my heart.
I've since upgraded the gills to the "M" version and the car is starting feel more uniquely mine. It's a 1.9 stock with dreams of someday being supercharged. The car is great fun to drive and I've gotten used to the stares and looks I get when tooling around. I've also learned to ignore the goobers in Honda's and Acura's wanting to race. It's funny when I drive to LA or the outskirts and have people really checking me out to see if I'm someone famous. I'm looking forward to driving to Denver at the end of the month with the top down and all those curves.
