I spent 9 hours installing this unit in my friends 2004 Toyota Tacoma and it was truely a pain in the ass!!! The unit is too wide for the center console, so I had to slightly widen it with a dremel. It worked perfectly and the unit held in perfectly with its built in snapping mechanism. Since Toyota doesn't have a GAL wire, I had to splice the speed sensor wire from the engine bay and then snake it through the firewall.
