Rachel, thanks for all the
effort you doing for us. Several of my
firefighters are FDNY firefighters. I am enclosing a photo of sunset
at our
fire station. That is a FDNY flag flying over the station.

I will be sending you a photo of our station, flying above it is the

One of my firefighters was hoping you could relay a message to a
friend of his at Ladder 20. Craig Moore is one of my firefighters,he
is a
FDNY firefighter, his buddy, Tom Lynch is at Ladder 20 getting ready
to be promoted to Lt. Craig would like you to tell Tom that one of the
shirts they sent is going to Craig. Let Tom know Craig is doing well,
safe and sound.

I will let Craig know you will deliver the message. I attached a photo
of
me, that way you know who you are talking to. As Chris told you, I had
a
close call...
Thanks for all the effort you have pit in to these expression of support.
If you didn't know better you would think Ladder 2o had picked up and
moved here. Soon the guys from this rotation will heading back to the
US and their homes, but one thing is for sure we all have formed a bound
with those who had to fight this war first...the firefighters of Ladder
20. My respect and admiration for them is beyond words and I have been
humbled by their selfless show of support for us.
